Avita NM™ Coronary Dilatation catheter comes in a rapid exchange (monorail) system and is compatible with all conventional 0.014” PTCA guidewires in the market. The proximal shaft is a PTFE coated stainless steel tube. The steel construction allows superior proximal pushability with a smooth transition to a distal shaft specifically designed to be trackable through tortuous vasculature. The distal section is applied with a lubricious coating. The semi-compliant balloon material allows high-pressure dilatation while maintaining control of balloon size. Two radiopaque platinum marker bands are located within the balloon with the exception of 1.5 mm diameter balloons, where the marker band is centrally located. Two marked sections are located on the hypotube shaft to indicate catheter position relative to the tip of either a brachial or femoral guiding catheter. .
